Direct Debit

Šiaulių bankas offers the best solution for paying all your bills in time – once you sign a Direct Debit Agreement, the payment of the bills issued on your behalf will become the concern of the bank with no extra notice. The direct debit service is provided free of charge.

You can terminate your direct debit agreement at any time at your convenience - not only with your service provider, but also at any cusotmer service point of Šiaulių Bankas or via internet bank Internet Banking System, provided the service provider offers this possibility (see The List of service providers, column – Consent termination at the bank).

Direct debit is safe because the bank only transfers funds to the service provider when you enter into a direct debit agreement with the bank. Once the agreement is concluded:

you will save money because the direct debit service is free of charge, i.e. no commission fee will be applied on either agreement conclusion or monthly payment operations;
you will save time because you will no longer need to go to a bank or any other institution each month and stand in the queues to pay your bills on time and avoid wasting time paying the bills online;
you will no longer need to remember precise deadlines and amounts for the payment of bills because your bills will be paid in time;
information about payments will be shown in your account statements, you may also receive this information if you are using internet bank, SMS Bankas service, as well as in all outlets of the bank or by phone (8 700 55055) and e-mail (notice of outstanding payments);
you can terminate the direct debit agreement at any time at the bank or the service provider (where you signed your direct debit agreement).

once a direct debit agreement has been entered into, payments may be made as early as the next business day following the conclusion of the agreement.
make sure your account has sufficient funds to make payments. The bank makes direct debit payments from your bank account as long as there are sufficient funds in your account to make the payment and the payment amount does not exceed the amount you specify. Otherwise the bank will not pay the invoice and will inform the service provider. Partial debiting is also possible if this condition is specified in the table of the List of the Service Providers.
You may also pay for the services by direct debit for another natural person who has entered into an agreement with the service provider, indicating that person's payer's code, name and surname.
If you would like to receive the invoices submitted to you by the service providers electronically, view them and agree to pay them, choose e-pay or m-pay invoice submission and payment systems. For more information visit www.epay.lt or www.mpay.lt websites.

via internet bank;
