Business hours and payments during Easter

Dear Clients,

On the occasion of the upcoming spring holiday, we would like to wish you to stay in a positive mood and comfortably spend Easter at home.

And so that the festive mood is not distracted by daily chores, we recommend you get acquainted with the most important information relevant to the long weekend.

Business hours

We would like to inform you that during the Easter days (on 12 and 13 April) Šiaulių Bankas customer service points and Customer Call Service Centre will be closed. On Tuesday, 14 April, the Customer Call service Centre will operate as usually, from 8 p.m.

 If you lose your payment card, even during the holidays, immediately call 1813 and block it.

Payment orders

Šiaulių Bankas accepts instant payments, therefore customers will receive instant payment orders to their account within a few seconds during the holidays. Instant payments are made 24 hours round, both on weekends and public holidays, when transferring funds in euros, the maximum amount of one transfer is up to 15 thousand euros.

When making a payment order from Šiaulių Bankas account, the SEPA order is applied, therefore the payment orders submitted after 4 pm on April 9 will be executed on the next business day of all banks – i.e. on 14 April this year.

International payments

In many European countries, 10 April is a day off (Good Friday), therefore we would like to draw your attention that payments in euros to other banks registered in the SEPA states, submitted after 4 pm on 9 April 2020, will be made on the next business day of all banks, i.e. on 14 April 2020.

Payment cards

It will be possible to pay with payment cards during the festive weekend as usual, Šiaulių Bankas customers will also be able to use online banking and withdraw money at ATMs.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that depending on the ways in which virus is spread we recommend avoiding cash and opting for contactless payments. During quarantine, the payment limit for contactless payment cards is increased to EUR 50 per payment. Until now, contactless payment could amount to 25 euros.

If you still use an ATM that is regularly disinfected, wear gloves or remember to wash your hands later.
