Click on the Become our customer online button and follow the steps below where we:

1. Will identify you.

To make sure it’s really you, we will ask you to identify yourself with a Smart-ID or mobile signature.

2. Will ask you to fill in and sign the Know Your Customer Form.

We comply with all legal requirements, including the Know Your Customer principle, which requires us to ask you to fill in the Know Your Customer Form. This form must be completed periodically by all customers of all banks.

3. Will identify the promoters of your company specified in the application.

To make sure it’s really you, we will ask you to identify yourself with a Smart-ID or mobile signature.

4. Will ask you and other promoters (if any) to upload a picture of the identity document and make a selfie.

Have a device with a video camera ready – we will ask you to take a picture of both your identity document (ID card or passport) and yourself. This step is necessary for us to confirm your identity.

You can become a Customer by remote means if you are a company registered in the Republic of Lithuania and you are not currently a customer of Šiaulių Bankas.

By remote means, you will be able to open a bank account with the service plan and additional services of your choice: Internet Bank and/or debit card.

In case that you specify in the Know Your Customer Form that your first deposit to the account will exceed EUR 15,000 or that the activities of your company require a licence, or that the beneficiary is another legal entity, we will ask you to provide additional documents: documents showing the origin of funds of the first deposit, the relevant licences, documents showing the company’s governance and shareholding structure.

The whole process takes an average of up to 30 minutes. The process cannot be interrupted, so you should prepare everything you will need before you start. If the process gets interrupted, you will have to start it again.

Once you have filled in all the necessary information, your account application will be evaluated within about 3 working days.
