Updates to the rules, terms and rates for some services

A new version of the Payment Service Rules of Šiaulių Bankas (hereinafter, the “Rules”), which are an integral part of every agreement concluded with a client or service provided to a client, will take effect as of 1 January 2025.

Šiaulių Bankas has successfully placed EUR 300 million note issue on the international market

Šiaulių Bankas AB has successfully placed EUR 300 million issue of 4.25-year senior preferred fixed rate reset notes with an optional call date and interest rate reset at 3.25 years from issue as debut on the international debt capital markets. The annual fixed rate coupon on the notes up to the reset date will be 4.853 %. Settlement will take place on 5 September 2024. Listing of the notes will be on Euronext Dublin.

Moody’s Ratings affirms Šiaulių Bankas’ ratings and its stable outlook

The international rating agency Moody’s Investor Service has affirmed Šiaulių Bankas long-term deposit ratings of Baa1. The outlook on the long-term deposit ratings remains stable.

New Supervisory Council and Management Board of Šiaulių Bankas elected

29 March 2024 The General Meeting of Shareholders of Šiaulių Bankas AB elected the Supervisory Council of the Bank for a new four-year term of office (2024-2028).

Certificate for annual income and asset declarations

Please be informed that you can now generate a certificate in the Internet Bank with the following data: available funds, housing loans and interest paid to the bank, repayment of student loans (or part thereof), and interest paid on term deposits, which are required for the 2023 personal income and asset declarations. Clients who have traded in securities can also generate the necessary certificates.

New Privacy Policy of Šiaulių Bankas Group companies in Lithuania entered into force

please be informed that the Privacy Policy of Šiaulių Bankas Group companies in Lithuania (hereinafter, the Privacy Policy) entered into force as of 1 December 2023. The new Privacy Policy applies to the companies of Šiaulių Bankas Group, i.e., Šiaulių Bankas AB, life insurance company SB Draudimas UAB, SB Lizingas UAB and SB Asset Management UAB.

New rates of Šiaulių Bankas services enter into force

Please be informed that new rates and terms and conditions for daily banking, documentary settlement and guarantee, credit and leasing, investment and other services will enter into force for private and business clients from 1 January 2024. The early repayment fee for mortgage and real estate loans changes for private clients from 1 November 2023.

Regarding export verification procedures for regulated goods

Šiaulių bankas (hereafter ‘the Bank’), has taken into account the clarification issued by the European Commission on the implementation of the enforcement of the export of sanctioned goods to third countries. Therefore, the Bank hereby advises that European Union (hereafter EU) operators should have in place appropriate due diligence procedures to ensure that exports of regulated goods are not diverted to Russia.

Šiaulių Bankas Group results for the H1 2023

In H1, Šiaulių Bankas Group earned EUR 43.3 million of unaudited net profit (47% more than a year ago, when the profit amounted to EUR 29.5 million).

Šiaulių bankas AB issues EUR 50 million subordinated bonds

Šiaulių bankas AB has successfully completed a 10-year subordinated bond issue with a nominal value of EUR 50 million in the international financial markets, which will bear a coupon of 10.75%. Subordinated bonds are included into the bank's Tier 2 capital, so having a larger capital base will give the Bank more scope for sustainable growth and higher returns to shareholders.
