FAQ

How do I sign in to the app if I do not have Smart-ID?
  1. I am a citizen of Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia:

    Download the free Smart-ID app from Google Play or the App Store on your smart device and create a Smart-ID account by authenticating yourself with an e-signature or ID card. For more, read here;

    If you don't have a m-signature, please register and visit any of the Bank's branches and a Smart-ID account will be created and activated for you.

  2. I am not a citizen of Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia:

    You cannot create a Smart-ID account at this time. We are working on this and soon we will provide the opportunity to create a Smart-ID account by visiting any branch of Šiaulių Bankas.

How do I sign in to the app if I do not have a mobile signature?

If you are an adult citizen of the Republic of Lithuania and have a SIM card, contact your mobile operator in order to obtain a mobile signature. More information about mobile signature is available here.

How do I sign in to the app if I cannot create a Smart-ID account or obtain a mobile signature?

Sign in to the new mobile version of the Internet Bank on your smartphone by visiting e.sb.lt. The Internet Bank design will be adapted to your device and you will be able to use it conveniently.

What should I do if I cannot sign in to the mobile app using Smart-ID Basic account?

You have to confirm your consent to use this verification tool.
You can confirm your consent by:

  • By calling 1813 and identifying yourself;
  • By registering for a visit and visiting any of the Bank branches.
What languages does the app support?

The app supports Lithuanian, English and Russian.

What are the requirements for the operating system of the device in order to use the app?

Android v5.1 or iOS v9.0 or higher operating system version.

Are my created payment order templates available in the app?

If you select to make a payment order and enter at least three characters in the recipient field, the app will suggest a list of recipients from recent payments, payment order templates and recipients.

How do I set the Main Accounts and payment cards and their order in the app?

The app shows the Main Accounts, which are set as main in the Internet Bank. In order to change the accounts and their order in the main screen of the app, sign in to Internet Bank, select to show the accounts in set order in account settings, choose the desired order of accounts and save the settings. The main card will be the one that is linked to the account that has been set as the main account.

Can I download a statement in the app?

Yes, you can download a statement for the current day, current month or previous month in the mobile app. Tap on the account tab, select “Download statement” and select a period.

How long is the session active if I do not sign out of the app?

If no actions are performed in the app for five (5) minutes, the session is closed.

Who can sign in to the app?

The services provided in the app can be used by users of the Internet Bank who have signed in to the app. Only the users who have Smart-ID or M. signature (mobile signature) can sign in to the app.

What functions can be performed in the app?
  • Signing in using Smart-ID or mobile signature;
  • Quick access with a fingerprint or Face ID (for iOS users) and your own PIN code;
  • Information about account balances and reserved amounts;
  • Quick transfer of money to your accounts;
  • Simple payments to other banks;
  • Instant payments to banks that accept this type of payment;
  • Payments using templates, recipients or recent payments by entering only three characters in the recipient field;
  • Currency exchange;
  • Push notifications about amounts received, debits, rejected payments, unsigned payments, received e-invoices and unpaid e-invoices, transactions awaiting signature, received messages, currency exchange charge applied for payments made with a personal card in the EU and EEA countries in currencies other than Euro;
  • Viewing a statement;
  • The app is available in Lithuanian, English and Russian;
  • Automatic signing out (closing the session) after a period of inactivity;
  • Convenient account share function;
  • Enabling/disabling the Dark Mode;
  • View payment card information and manage the functions of the card;
  • Confirm more than one payment at the same time;
  • Cancel a payment that was made outside of the working hours of the bank;
  • View credit and deposit information;
  • Switch to internet bank without additional login;
  • Review, read, write messages.

What are transaction fees and execution times?

Transactions confirmed in the app are executed in the same way as in the Internet Bank and are shown on lists of transactions or statements of the Internet Bank and the app. Transactions performed using the mobile app are subject to the same fees and are executed in the same time period as in the Internet Bank.
