General service fee conditions

  1. The following Service Fees of AB Šiaulių bankas (hereinafter - the Bank) (hereinafter - the Fees) are applicable to   natural persons, including farmers, notaries, bailiffs, attorneys at law (hereinafter collectively - the Client(s)).
  2. In addition to the Fees listed in this document, the following additional costs of the Bank may be charged for all services in connection with the payment transaction or service provided to the Customer:

    2.1. additional postage and telecommunications costs;

    2.2. government taxes, if any;

    2.3. foreign bank charges, if any.

  3. The Bank shall have the right to unilaterally change the Fees in accordance with the procedure provided for in the General Rules for Provision of Services of Šiaulių bankas. The amended Fees shall be published on the Bank's website www.sb.lt.

  4. Fees are payable in Euro, unless otherwise stipulated in a separate Bank Service Agreement or other agreements concluded with the Customer. Foreign bank charges shall be debited in the currency specified/provided by the foreign bank. The Customer shall pay the commission fee to the Bank in the manner provided for in the General Rules for Provision of Payment Services of Šiaulių bankas

  5. If the service provision agreements concluded with the Customer or the legislation or these Fees do not contain an obligation for the Bank to provide a particular service, it may be provided at the Customer's request, with the Bank's consent, for a fee agreed in advance between the parties.

  6. Terms used in this document include:

    D - Number of Bank's working days within which the payment order will be executed. For example, D + 0 - the payment order will be executed on the same Bank Business Day if it was submitted before "Hours". the time specified in the graph.

    Hour - the hour by which the submitted payment instruction will be deemed to have been received on that Bank Business Day.

    OUR / DEBT all charges to the payer) - if OUR / DEBT is selected, all charges from the Bank, other correspondent banks/intermediaries and/or the payee's bank will be paid by the payer. The Bank is not liable if the beneficiary receives a lower amount of transferred funds due to circumstances beyond the Bank's control (the beneficiary's bank and/or correspondent/intermediary bank may impose additional fees). The OUR / DEBT fee type is used for payment instructions to countries outside the European Economic Area

    SHA / SHAR - both the payer and the payee pay the fees: the customer pays the Bank's fees, the payee pays the fees of the beneficiary's bank and the fees of the correspondent/intermediary's bank (which may be deducted from the transferred funds).

    Account - an account opened with the Bank in the name of the Client or several Clients (joint holders) and used for payment operations. The types of accounts may vary, e.g. bank account, deposit account, depository account, securities account, etc.

    SEPA credit transfer - a payment order in euro initiated by the Customer (payer) and executed in accordance with a scheme established by the European Payments Council to countries within the SEPA area.     Resident - a natural person who, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania or the European Union or a Member State of the European Economic Area, has the right to reside in the Republic of Lithuania or an EU Member State or an EEA State, i.e. a person who holds a personal identity document issued by the Republic of Lithuania or any other EU/EEA State and whose permanent place of residence is in the Republic of Lithuania or any other EU/EEA State, or a person who holds a personal identity document issued by a State other than the Republic of Lithuania and the EU/EEA State but who resides in the Republic of Lithuania or any other EU/EEA State, respectively, and who has a document issued by those countries entitling him or her to reside there on a temporary or permanent basis.

    Non-resident - a natural person who is not considered resident.

    PSP - payment service provider - banks, credit institutions, electronic money institutions, payment institutions or other institutions that may provide payment services, as defined in the Law on Payments of the Republic of Lithuania

    "Commission" means the remuneration payable by the Customer to the Bank for a payment transaction and/or related services, or services related to the Account, or in connection with these services, as well as for other services provided by the Bank.
