Measures and transactions
Bonds are the debt securities, issued by governments, financial institutions, companies or other financial institutions. When buying bonds, the investor lends funds to the bond issuer. The issuer undertakes to pay interest to the persons who have acquired such securities on predetermined periods, and in the end of bonds validity period to pay out their nominal value. Bonds are associated with relatively small risk, but profit also is not high.
This is a collective investment tool, i.e. common partial ownership of assets of investors, invested by fund managementcompany according to a certain strategy. Management of the money invested into the funds is entrusted to reliable investment professionals. Exchange traded funds generally are not actively managed. Their units are traded on the stock exchange like shares of a company.
